Job Function

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the PE Ops platform using C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET 8+, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Contributes to CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, security, and observability, and applies AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity without compromising security, quality, or accountability.

Job Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Develop scalable REST APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET 8+.
• Design and implement backend modules for tasks, workflows, approvals, SLAs,     notifications, audit, analytics and integrations.
• Implement background jobs for SLA timers, notifications, recurring tasks and integrations.
• Build reliable integrations with external systems and APIs.

Database & Data Management

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases using EF Core and SQL.

‍

Security & Quality

• Implement secure authentication, authorization, RBAC and audit logging.
• Write unit, integration and API tests.
• Participate in production troubleshooting, performance optimization and rollback activities.

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Implement logging, monitoring, metrics and tracing using CloudWatch/OpenTelemetry.

‍

AI-Assisted Development

• Use AI coding assistants such as Claude, Amazon Q/Kiro, GitHub Copilot or equivalent to improve development productivity.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance and maintainability.

Collaboration

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning and technical documentation.
• Other duties as assigned in relation to achieving defined goals

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

‍

Experience  

• 3–5+ years' experience as a Backend Engineer with significant C#/.NET experience.

‍

Required Functional Skills  

• Strong C# and .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core experience.
• Strong REST API development experience.
• Good PostgreSQL, SQL and Entity Framework Core knowledge.
• Git/GitHub and pull-request workflows.
• Docker and CI/CD fundamentals.
• Practical AWS knowledge.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC and API security.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Understanding of logging, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted software development.
• Good understanding of software architecture, SOLID and clean coding Practices.

Working Hours
